The Professional Q’s:
-
Online, practically anywhere you get books! I do have my own store where you can purchase SIGNED copies of any of my works, which goes to supporting me directly! I also highly encourage visiting your local independent bookstore and ordering through them, or visiting Bookshop.org if you need to order online!

No! That’s a different Astrid Knight! Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in finding their contact info, so we continue to use the same pen name for the time being. Everything I have written can be found on my website here. And if you’re the other Astrid Knight, email me! I would love to know where to send your fans! They keep asking me about werewolves, and I know nothing about them!

No. Every word in my books is my own. I hire real people to do my editing and proofreading, and every piece of artwork attached to my works has been commissioned by a professional artist. As a creative and an environment lover, I vehemently oppose the use of AI and its impact on both human creativity and our planet.

Any information on releases can be found on my social media pages, as well as on the title’s website info page. For the most up-to-date info, follow my Instagram!

The Personal Q’s:
-
I consider myself to be genderfluid and pansexual. My pronouns are either they/them or he/him. You may hear me use other terms interchangeably, such as nonbinary or bisexual or gay or queer. I normally switch out terms depending on who I am talking to, what I am talking about, and what context the terms are being used in. Overall, queer identity is a deeply personal thing, and I hope to put my thoughts and experiences as a queer person down onto the page in a way that is both cathartic for me as the artist and for you as the reader!
-
Yes, I’m married to a man, but that does not make me less queer. That’s about as much comment as I’ll give on my relationship, and if you have an issue with it, the exit button is up there!
-
Please don’t! I go by Astrid or Ash. Either one of those is great!
-
I would never purport to be an expert in how to process trauma or treat mental health. All I know is my own experience with those issues, so please do not take anything that I or the characters in my novels say as professional medical advice. Furthermore, no one is entitled to know my diagnoses or details of my traumatic experiences, so I will not indulge questions or interrogations regarding those things.
-
Yes! I’ve had a few people come up to me and say they love the books so far, and it’s so flattering! And as long as you’re respectful, I’ll be more than willing to stop and chat!
